TEPPIA Investigation No. 2 - October, 8th, 2008 - Greenwood Cemetery, Northampton, PA

     Steve found this cemetery by chance not long before this investigation and we decided to give it a try. We arrived at around quarter of ten in the evening in this quiet area, surrounded by a church, a rural road, and some corn fields. The cemetery was medium in size and consisted of a fair mixture of older and newer grave sites. The temperature was in the high 50's to lower 60's and comfortable with an overcast and low humidity. Unfortunetely, it began to drizzle slightly not long after we arrived, making photography a mute point.

     Still, the slight drizzle did not prevent us from recording EVP. The occasional passing of a distant car or overhead plane were the only sounds breaking the still silence as the investigation unfolded. The 45 minutes investigation yielded several interesting results on tape. All in all, several voices were captured on this particular investigation. Notable was the voice of what sounded like a little girl saying "Hi" over my voice. A clear yet raspy voice exclaiming "Get out!", was also among the voices captured along with a bizarre yet very faint phrase of "kill me". Several other strange sounds appeared on the tape but were inconclusive as to their nature.

     All in all, despite what seemed to be a quiet investigation, the spirits at this particular cemetery certainly had much to say and it is a shame the drizzle prevented any photographs from being taken. Still, this cemetery calls for another look and it is a safe thing to say we will be back at some future date to hopefully get some photographic evidence to compliment these interesting recordings of what proved to be a fruitful, albeit relatively short investigation.
